Our Story
Escarpment Luxury Lodge is a globally recognized brand providing world-class luxury accommodation, safari, and other hospitality services in Africa. Established in 2011, our journey was inspired by the drive of our founders to enhance travelers’ safari experience by providing them with affordable yet global standard luxury hospitality services.
We offer an array of luxury accommodations and hospitality services to cater to all types of guests searching for a perfect mix of luxury and adventure. Our services are meant for people traveling for safari, business retreats, personal and/or family relaxation, honeymoon, and adventure in Tanzania and East Africa.
Passports must exhibit a validity period of no less than 6 months beyond the anticipated entry date into Tanzanian territory.
Environment Sustainability
We are fully aware of the responsibility that comes with running properties and related hospitality services in such incredible destinations and we are putting conservation and environmental sustainability at the heart of our operations.
We generate a significant part of our electricity through solar panels, with a backup generator, we also encourage recycling and avoid single-use plastic. Moreover, the construction of our properties uses materials that are not harmful to nature. The chalets and tents are designed to have an environmentally sustainable and safe footprint that cannot cause any damage to the surrounding nature.
During game drives, it is strictly prohibited for guests to attempt to feed animals or exit vehicles, except in designated areas such as entry and exit gates and specific zones allocated for special activities.
